Spatial Edge Computing

Spatial Edge Computing runs parts of the Spatial AI pipeline-like localization, object detection, or safety checks-close to where data is generated, on devices or local gateways. This reduces latency for AR Spatials rendering, robot reactions, and Spatial prompts enforcement when cloud round-trips would be too slow or unreliable. Edge nodes can maintain local caches of Spatials and maps, syncing with a central Spatial intelligence cloud when connectivity allows. Platforms such as Spatials.aiTM support hybrid architectures where sensitive or time-critical Spatial operations stay at the edge, while global analytics and coordination live in the cloud.
